A Story About Our Advisors

You know what they say about true friends, that they are useless to you. That may sound backward but think about it.

A real friend is someone you don’t look to for anything but friendship and support. It’s someone you can share your deepest fears and concerns with full transparency without fear of retributions. Any judgment that you may seek from them is of the type you desire to become a better person. In the case of Brian, Michael, and Craig - my friendship dates back to 1983, 1991, and 2001 respectively. With all three of these guys, we can disagree, but we always do so with respect for the other person, and we work hard to learn from one another. We all share the foundational belief that facts are stubborn things and that the truth in matters of complexity is often found deep below the surface. You have to dig deeply to find it!

I want to thank Brian, Michael, and Craig for being true friends and business advisors. They play a critical role in challenging our assumptions and biases and keeping us tuned in to other perspectives. They will help us fulfill the mission and purpose of Getting Along Academy and its related endeavors.
