This article was the first I wrote as an author on Substack, a free subscription-based writing platform for authors and enthusiasts who wanted to say something. I refer to it often as I find it to be as good a summary of why I’m doing what I do, it takes me back to basics and gives me a sense of structure. I'm not sure I can ever tell my story of why I wrote a book, as well as articulate the ideas that I’ve found that I believe can save a nation, and help a future generation get along much better than we do today in America.
